Installer out of business?
If the company that installed your pool panels is gone or will not return your calls, AllSolar Energy will adopt the system and get it heating again.
Call 866-412-4218Solar pool heating has been on Florida roofs for a long time, and plenty of the companies that sold those systems are not around anymore. Some closed. Some were bought and stopped doing service. Some moved on to other work and just do not answer the phone about old pool jobs.
The system itself usually keeps going for a while. Then something small happens. A leak, a stuck valve, a controller that stops switching on. With nobody to call, the homeowner shuts the valve and lives with a cold pool. The panels sit on the roof doing nothing, and every year they sit there the problem gets easier to ignore.
We think that is a waste of a system that someone already paid for. AllSolar Energy takes over these abandoned pool heaters, figures out what they need, and gets them back to work.
Taking over a system is not a sales pitch for a new one. It means we become the company you call. In practice it looks like this:
It does not matter what brand of panel you have or who installed it. We have been working on solar pool heating in Central Florida since 1999, and a lot of what we do now is caring for systems we did not put in.
AllSolar Energy has spent years adopting solar systems whose installers disappeared, including solar pool heating and solar hot water, not just solar electric. Homeowners have trusted us since 1999, with more than 18,000 customers across 17 Florida counties.
Request ServiceEvery system is different, so we do not assume anything until we see it. That said, a few problems come up again and again on pool heaters that have gone without service:
Many of those are ordinary repairs. Sometimes a few panels have reached the end of their life and need to be replaced. Either way, you get an honest answer about what the system needs before any work starts.
This is one of the most common ways people find us. The roofer says the pool panels have to come off, and there is no installer to call. We remove and reinstall solar pool heaters for roof replacement, and while the panels are down we can check them and tell you if any are worth replacing before they go back up.
Once your system is healthy again, the easiest way to keep it that way is a yearly look. An annual solar pool heater inspection catches small leaks and worn parts before they turn into a shut off system again. AllSolar Cares memberships include service benefits for pool heating systems too, including ones we did not install. You never need a membership to call us for a repair.
AllSolar Energy services solar pool heating systems from any brand and any installer, including companies that have closed. We take over the system, repair it and keep a record of it for future visits.
Often it is. Many shut off systems were turned off because of a leak or a stuck valve, not because the panels were worn out. After we inspect it we will tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense or whether some panels are due for replacement.
No. The installer being gone does not change what the system needs. We look at the equipment on its own merits and repair what can be repaired.
Some panel manufacturers offer their own warranties separate from the installer. If you have your paperwork, bring it to the visit and we can look at what it says. We cannot promise a manufacturer will honor a claim, but we can help you understand your options.
Yes. Much of our pool heating work is on systems another company installed.
Yes. We remove and reinstall solar pool heaters for roof replacement, and we check the panels while they are down.
A service request from your Solar Home already carries your address, your equipment and your history, so you are not describing your system from memory on the phone. Free to create, and you never need a membership to request service.
Free to read first, no account needed: what you can safely check yourself before calling anyone, what a diagnostic visit involves, and what to have ready.
