The solar industry is booming, and this has attracted some less than ethical salespeople to the game. We strive to be a solution to that problem; to offer a safe refuge to confused and misled prospects. We want solid salespeople who sell top-tier products, customized to our customer’s needs and wants, honestly and at a fair price. If you want to be valued for always taking care of your customers, for building relationships with them, for following up, and for competently guiding them through the sometimes confusing and treacherous sales process; we are the company for you.
Products we sell
What? You don’t know anything about those products?
No worries, we will teach you all you need to know about them. As long as you are honest and believe in ethical sales practices and understand that it is only a good deal if both parties are happy, we would like to speak to you.
Or,
You know all about this stuff? Been doing it for years?
Great, we would love to talk to you and see if our company is a good place for you to practice your expertise.
Here is what you should have:
Reliable Transportation
It’s best if you have a truck capable of carrying a ladder. In some cases, to give the most accurate quotes, getting on a roof may be required. It can be done with a car, but sometimes it creates an extra step where we have to send out a technician with the ability to get up on a roof to make sure there are no surprises. Trucks are better, but not required.
Financial Security
Salespeople work on commissions. It’s not the kind of job you want to start if you are desperate for money. We rarely close a sale on the first visit. Have enough in the bank to survive for a few weeks before your first paycheck.
Physical Fitness
In order to do the best job possible for your customers, selling some of these products may require you to climb ladders, get in attics, and lift up to fifty pounds.
The Ability to Work Unsupervised
Once your initial training is over, there is no micromanagement here. There is no morning check in where you are grilled over whether you sold not, and if not, why? You will be expected to handle the prospective customers we assign to you diligently and competently. That means you run your appointments on time, you answer the questions you can honestly, you research the questions you can’t and get back to the prospect with correct responses, you keep all your promises to the customer, and never make promises you can’t deliver. Expect to see the customer a couple times before the sale, once or twice during install, and unlimited follow ups as needed.
If this sounds like the type of sales organization you would like to be a part of, please don’t hesitate to call or submit your application. We look forward to speaking to you. Call 866-412-4218 (ask for Dave Mills) or send an email with your résumé HERE.
