Considering solar for your home? AllSolar Energy specializes in permanent residential photovoltaic systems, not portable panels. Licensed contractor in Cen
Portable solar panels seem convenient, but most homeowners find that a permanent solar system designed for their roof or property makes much more sense. Fixed photovoltaic systems are more efficient, weatherproof for Florida's climate, and produce the power you need day after day without moving or storing equipment.
AllSolar Energy installs residential photovoltaic systems that stay put and produce steady power. We're a licensed and insured Florida solar contractor serving Central Florida since 1999. If you're trying to figure out whether solar makes sense for your home, call us for a free estimate. We'll look at your property and power needs and tell you honestly what will work.
Fixed systems are engineered to your roof angle and sun exposure. They stay in place through Florida weather, require no setup or breakdown, and generate power consistently. Portable panels work better for camping or temporary power needs, not for powering a home over months and years.
We install photovoltaic arrays on roofs or ground mounts, plus the inverter and electrical gear that converts DC power to usable electricity. Most systems include monitoring so you can see what you're producing. We also install solar pool heating and solar hot water if those fit your needs.

Not usually. Portable panels are lower wattage, inefficient to install and store, and you'd need dozens to power a home. A permanent roof-mounted system produces much more power and works without any effort from you.
That depends on your system design and local code, which we review during your estimate. Some systems are relocatable; others are permanently integrated into your home's electrical service. We'll explain your options.
A typical residential system needs 200 to 400 square feet of unshaded roof space facing south or southwest, though it varies by your power needs and panel efficiency. We'll measure and calculate during your free estimate.
We focus on permanent residential installation on stick-built homes. Mobile homes and RVs have different requirements and setups. Call us to discuss your specific situation.
